North Star Imaging Increases Investment on the East Coast – Boston Area
North Star Imaging (NSI) has installed an additional digital X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) system at their Inspection Services & Applications Laboratory in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
“The demand for digital X-ray inspection services on the East Coast has grown significantly since we opened for business back in 2017. Customers demand not only quality image data but quick project turn times. In order to meet those expectations, North Star Imaging has made a significant investment in personnel and Computed Tomography (CT) systems on the East Coast”, says Eric Gingras, Business Development Manager.
NSI’s East Coast facility, located just outside Boston, MA, offers advice and support for existing and new customers to develop application specific solutions and supply inspection services. Typical inspection service requests include internal measurements, 3D CAD comparisons, defect, void and/or porosity analysis, surface reconstructions for reverse engineering, finite element analysis and failure analysis.
