Labino Lamps and Lights

Labino Lamps and Lights

The UV Labino lamp output is peaked in the 365nm wavelength for NDT and a variety of other specialized applications. The Labino lamps are available in either Ultra-violet or white light formats either as high intensity `long throw' spot lamps or as flood lamps. The output levels both in UV and white light are impressive (up to 20,000 microwatts / cm2 at 40 inches). The Labino lamp exhibits extremely high output levels whilst remaining cool in operation without the need for cooling fans or any form of ventilation. This is due to the gas discharge bulb used which although only consumes 35 watts of input power produces outputs equivalent to most 200 watt lamps on the market.

Applications include Non-destructive testing, UV curing processes, effects lighting, Bacterial identification, Leak detection, Forensic and arson investigation, Detection of food contamination, Marking illumination and inspection of conformal coatings.

 The LABINO Lamp S135, PS135

The Labino Duo UV-lamps contain the ballast in one housing and the bulb, ignitor and reflector in a separate housing. They are durable with very low weight, heat generation and energy consumption.

The Labino Duo UV-lamps will, either hand-held or permanently mounted, improve simplify and speed-up most existing UV applications as well as create totally new possibilities.

 TrackPack

A further advantage of such low input power requirements is the extended operating times for the battery powered TrackPacks - over 1 hour continuous maximum output.

A TrackPack fitted with a dimmer switch is also available on request which allows the already very high output levels to be reduced where possible to further extend battery life by up to 20 minutes. Recharge time is approximately 5 hours and the unit is supplied with a lead to power the lamp from a cigarette lighter.

 The UV LABINO LAMPS

The Labino Ultra Violet lamps are based on two key components: Labino DUV-35W Gas Discharge Bulb (MPXL-technology) and Labino Trigger-Ballasts (Electronics).

The unique interface technology between these key-components creates unbeatable output performance per feeded Watt. All UV lamps have two important distinctions, Floodlight or Spotlight. The floodlight has a wide distribution angle (45°), leaving a large projection area.

The unique Spotlight has a very focused (3.5°) highly intense beam and will excite a fluorescent media from several hundred meters. All Labino lamps, UV & White Lights, are available for 12-24DC, 115VAC or 230VAC in several configurations.

LABINO Visible Light MeterLABINO® UV-A Meter

This Labino Lamp measures Nearly Entire UV-A Range - Accurate - Reliable - Easy-to-use
A small, handy and extremely easy-to-use instrument for accurate measurement of UV-A radiation between 0.1 - 200,000 uW/cm2. With both automatic zeroing and on/off switch, the only controls are a four-position range selection and a hold button for retaining the display value.
Traditional UV-meters are adapted to the Mercury Vapor Bulb Technology. These bulbs emit UV-A almost exclusively at or in the close vicinity of 365nm. Existing UV-meters are consequently designed to measure this narrow range.

 LABINO® Visible Light Meter

Non-Fluorescent Sensor - Accurate - Reliable - Easy-to-use
A small, handy and extremely easy-to-use instrument for accurate measurement of illuminance. It has two ranges for measuring both metric lux (lx) and imperial footcandle (fc) units. The sensitivity ranges are 0.1 - 200,000 lx and 0.01 - 20,000 fc. With automatic zeroing and on/off switch, the only controls are a four-position range selection and a hold button for retaining the display value.
When the high intensity Labino UV-lamps were launched, the discussion of visible light emission was intensified. Traditional visible light meters are adapted to the lower intensity Mercury Vapor Technology and its specific spectral UV-A distribution.
