Radiography

Radiography involves the use of penetrating X or Gamma radiation to examine parts and products for imperfections. An X-ray machine or radioactive isotope is used as a source of radiation. Radiation is directed through the inspection object and onto film or an electronic detector producing a shadow graph that shows the internal structure of the inspection object. Possible imperfections show up as density changes in the image, the same way a medical X-ray can show broken bones. ...more

Black Lights

Eddy Current

Non destructive testing method in which eddy current flow is induced in the test object. Changes in the flow caused by variations in the object are reflected into a nearby coil or coils for subsequent analysis by suitable instrumentation and techniques. ...more

Liquid Penetrant

We offer many liquid penetration solutions including our very own DyeView. ...more

Magnetic Particle

Magnetic particle testing is done by introducing a magnetic field in a ferromagnetic material and dusting the surface with iron particles (either dry or suspended in a liquid). ...more

Ultrasonics

Ultrasonics Ultrasonic testing uses the transmission of high frequency sound waves into a material to detect imperfections within the material or changes in material properties. ...more
